How To Master The Art Of Applying Lashes
(It’s easier than you think!)
Say GOODBYE to messy glue and harmful adhesives. Beauty Mode’s new luxury, advanced, and innovative design will help take the mess and the error out of traditional falsies – here's how to apply them.
Step 1: Apply Magnetic Eyeliner
Apply your Beauty Mode eyeliner like you would usually apply your eyeliner! Whether it is sexy cat-eyes or classic soft line – rock any look your mood tells you to! Simply shake the container and start at the outer lash line. Sweep the eyeliner along the upper lash line as close to your natural lash line as possible until you reach the inner corner of your eye.
Wait about 30 seconds (enough for the eyeliner to be semi-dry) and add another coat for extra hold and stability. Repeat for the other eye. Afterwards, wait 2-3 minutes for your eyeliner to completely dry out before going to the application step.
Step 2: Apply Magnetic Lashes
Gently remove your preferred Beauty Mode lash style from the box and lightly bend the strip to make the ends meet, so they hug your specific eye shape. This will make them fit better and stop them from lifting while you're wearing them!
Place the first magnet on the inner corner of your lash line (for your comfort we recommend not to place it too close to the inner corner) and slowly lay the magnets down on top of the magnetic eyeliner and close enough to your lash line so that it sits right on top, but not tangled up, in your natural lashes. You will feel the lash click onto your eyeliner. Repeat for the other eye.
Step 3: Finishing Touches
Once the lashes are set in place like you desire, gently press them down to ensure they are secured and blended to perfection.
VOILÀ, YOU DID IT!
Congratulations! You have successfully enabled your Beauty Mode and are now ready to enter the world in luxurious feathery perfection.
Not enough? We've got you covered! Here are some not-so-secret secrets:
#1: The thicker the better! Apply our Beauty Mode eyeliner a little thicker than your traditional eyeliner and at least two coats so that it can work its magic holding your lashes in place all day long or until you remove them!
#2: A coat of mascara can help your magnetic lashes blend with your real ones, but make sure you applying mascara on your real lashes before applying your magnetic lashes. Never get mascara or any makeup products on your magnetic lashes as it can ruin the quality of the lash and shorten the number of uses.
#3 Make sure your eyeliner is completely dry before applying the lashes so the liquid eyeliner don’t get onto the magnets on the lash brand while it’s still wet and lose the magnet's effectiveness.
#4: Place a mirror under your face nearly to a perpendicular angle and look down (almost like you're closing your eyes but don’t close your eyes), your eyelid will extend, and you'll be better able to see exactly where to place the strip.
#5: Our newfangled lash innovation is designed to be put on effortlessly with just your fingers. No tool or applicator needed! But if you have a love-hate relationship with lash strip application, don’t stress. Just use tweezers for a better control if you like.
#6: If you have to trim your lashes to fit the size of your eyes, remember to cut it from the outer corner of the lash so the lash style is maintained. Don't cut through the lashes, always cut them at the vein.
